St. Mary’s Medical Center recenlty honored 198 of its employees who are celebrating five-year-incremental anniversaries in 2008. Together, the employees had contributed a combined 2,515 years of service to St. Mary’s.

Among the employees honored were four who had been with the hospital for 40 years: Ethel Carpenter, dialysis technician, chronic hemodialysis; Peggy Stevens, L.P.N., NICU; Julie Towns, C.N.A., pediatrics; and Betty Wilcox, dialysis technician, chronic hemodialysis; and one with 35 years of service – Marianne Larson, R.N., NICU – who also was born at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Also recognized were Nurse of the Year, Teri Bushway, R.N., trauma services, and Employee of the Year, Henry Suarez, ultrasound technician.
